From the WooHoo! department:
The Wishing Shelf bookstore in England reviewed Blindsided. “A superbly written and very honest account of what it feels like to be a black woman in a white community. Highly recommended!”
The JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) book club of the Resilient Activist selected Blindsided as one of its January reads. Thank you, Sami Aaron, for bringing my work to their attention.
Blindsided, the audio book was published. Download it from Audible, Apple, B&N, Kobo, etc. Thank you Mark Thies, owner/producer/engineer at Markosa Studios.
The Blck + Brwn Bookstore in Kansas City has agreed to stock Blindsided, and host me for a reading.
Google Alerts reported Stumbling toward the Buddha is being sold on Sapna Online, India’s largest book mall.
From the Blast From the Past department:
The Sapna ad cited a review I hadn’t seen before, from back in 2015. Amanda on Goodreads.com said, “…like meditation, I thought (Stumbling toward the Buddha) would be good, but challenging. I was wrong. It wasn't good--it was great!” Thank you, Amanda.
From the Victories Over Doubt department
I contacted the Go On Girl! Book Club, a national organization with fifty-one chapters and 500 members, and recommended they add Blindsided to their reading list.
I contacted Helianthus Books, a Kansas City area pop-up bookshop, to request they add Blindsided to their collection.
